Senior SEO & Content Manager

Bell seeks an experienced and results-driven Senior SEO & Content Manager to join our growing agency. 

The Role:

You will have years of experience writing compelling content that aligns with SEO and content marketing strategies, and the technical SEO knowledge to make those pages rank across search engines. You keep up to date with SEO developments and trends and love to apply those learnings to help clients’ websites.

This is a hybrid position where you can work from home for four days and come into our central London office once a week (or more days if you prefer). 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies to increase visibility and organic traffic for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.

• Conduct thorough SEO audits for client websites, identifying areas of improvement and strategizing on effective solutions.

• Audit and optimise existing client content and if needed produce new optimised copy to improve visibility and target relevant audiences.

• Be aware of how and when to repurpose that content to offsite channels such as LinkedIn, Meta and X.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest SEO trends, search algorithm updates, and industry best practices to adapt strategies promptly and efficiently.

• Provide detailed analytics and performance reports to clients and senior management, translating complex data into actionable insights and strategic plans.

• Manage client communications, presenting strategies, and results while building strong, professional relationships through exceptional service.

• Ability to plan a roadmap, and create and optimise content for search engines while maintaining high quality and relevance.

• Link-building expertise in financial services with the ability to effectively foster relationships and secure opportunities with industry influencers and brands.

• Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading abilities with sound grammar and spelling.

• Attending key internal & client-facing meetings and positioning yourself as one of our agency authorities, translating meeting outcomes into actionable next steps

• Being part of successful pitch/RFP responses and regular new business activity

• Organise and conduct regular client meetings, and performance reviews and provide strategic recommendations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in SEO & Content with a proven track record of successful strategy development and execution.

• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods and Google’s focus on EEAT and Quality.

• Experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs) and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console, Looker Studio).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically, strategically, and creatively.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, emphasising client management and building relationships.

• Experience managing and prioritising multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.

• Location: Central London (so an easy commute is required).

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and website administration.

• Experience in client-facing roles within a digital agency.

• Experience with various CMSs – Shopify, WordPress, BigCommerce etc.

Business Development Executive

Grow our business by attracting new clients and solving their growth needs.

The Role:

We are seeking a proven ‘hunter’ to get Bell pitching for more business. You will need to know enough about marketing to be consultative in your pitch approach but equally a skilled salesperson who has a proven track record of opening doors that are closed to the average salesperson. You will be ready to build strong client relationships at senior level, managing stakeholder expectations and gaining their collective engagement for selecting Bell. You will report to the CEO & Head of Sales and be working across the full range of our services.

> Strategic outbound prospecting and networking to create new business opportunities.

> Evangelising Bell in new business meetings and at events.

> Working with the wider team to ensure the delivery of compelling consultative pitches.

> Help close new business opportunities and exceed sales targets.

> Managing our sales pipeline and CRM software.

Qualifications:

> +1 year proven successful sales experience (ideally in a digital agency).

> Native level fluency in English.

> Degree level educated preferred (we realise many great salespeople don't have one).

Personal qualities:

> Strong sales, negotiation, deal closing and networking skills.

> Self-motivated, hard-working, quick learner, attention to detail, resilient, hungry to succeed, organised, highly professional approach with excellent communication skills.

> Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.

> A lot of what we do is very data-driven so we require you to have an affinity with numbers.

> Ability to clearly articulate and communicate complex ideas to internal and external stakeholders while demonstrating problem-solving skills and comfort in challenging the status quo.
